With over 30 years in the sport of AKC dog shows, like most people, we enjoy more than one breed.   We have found this collection of breeds that get along with our personalities and that blend together.  We are currently breeding Cardigan Welsh Corgis, with one or two litters every year.  We do not have Siberian Huskies to breed.  Our Curly Coated Retreiver had her litter with our other co-owner.  Our Pointer may or may not be bred, we are working through health testing before we make the final decision.  In other words, we do not always have a litter on the ground or on the way.  We take breeding very seriously and do not breed to supplement our income.  We breed to produce dogs to show in conformation and work in performance events(Obedience, Rally Obedience, Agility, Herding, Hunt test, etc), and to continue improving the breed..  This page lists the dogs that actually live at the Smith or Rasmussen house "Our Dogs".  We also have all of our "Cardigan Puppies" that we have bred with each puppy having it's own web page that I keep updated as owners send pictures or information.  A number of the Cardigans we have bred, we co-own and it is listed on their web page.  The "Dogs that live in other wonderful home" are dogs that we co-own with other AKC hobbyists.  Some of these dogs spent part of their life with us, some we bred and continue to co-own with the other owners, they are still dogs that are part of our extended family. Finally we have our "Past Dogs" these are dogs that have crossed the Rainbow bridge.  We believe they should always be represented because if it wasn't for them, we wouldn't be where we are.   The living dogs have a date behind their name, this is to tell you when their web pages were last updated with pictures or information - an easier way for you to keep track of your favorite dog.
